At twilight today, Monday, May 1st, a new day begins, the 24th day of "counting the Omer". Today marks three weeks and three days of counting.
After His resurrection and for forty days Jesus was "speaking the things concerning the kingdom of God" (Acts 1 :3).
"Kingdom" is a big topic. The word implies God’s reign breaking though and redeeming every obstacle so His truth can be fearlessly proclaimed. Are there obstacles in your way today? Ask Jesus to move them aside with you so the path ahead of you is easy to access!
PRAYER:
Thank you, Lord, that you never leave us where we've been but lead us into growth and maturity. On the twenty-third day of counting the Omer, we bless You. Thank you for continuing to walk by our side through all seven weeks of the countdown to Pentecost! Amen.
