At twilight today, Saturday, May 13th, a new day begins, the 36th day of "counting the Omer". Today marks five weeks and a day of counting.
Yesterday was a big day in Biblical history. It was the first time God's presence, represented by a cloud hovering over the Tabernacle in the desert, moved in the desert (Numbers 10:11). So the Israelites set out from where they were to follow Him. Where do you see the Lord moving in your life and how can you choose to follow Him today?
PRAYER: Thank you, Lord, for moving in our lives and inviting us to go with You. On the thirty-sixth day of counting the Omer, we bless You. Thank you for continuing to walk by our side through all seven weeks of the countdown to Pentecost! Amen.
