At twilight today, Thursday, May 4rd, a new day begins, the 27th day of "counting the Omer". Today marks three weeks and six days of counting.
As this month's full moon approaches, the middle of a biblical month is near. Every full moon means the middle of the month. Last month's full moon pointed to Passover while the next full moon points to a little known feast: "Pesach Sheni" or second Passover. Our God is so good! God made sure anyone who missed His Passover blessing would get it the second time around.
PRAYER: Thank you, Lord, for loving so much you always give us a second chance. On the twenty-seventh day of counting the Omer, we bless You. Thank you for continuing to walk by our side through all seven weeks of the countdown to Pentecost! Amen.
