At twilight today, Monday, May 8th, a new day begins, the 31st day of "counting the Omer". Today marks four weeks and three days of counting.
In the time of Jesus, both Jews and Greeks (Gentiles) who followed the God of Heave knew the annual schedule of God and when to expect an invitations to come meet with him face to face. Pentecost was one of those times.
PRAYER: Thank you, Lord, for adding many children to your big family. On the thirty-first day of counting the Omer, we bless You. Thank you for continuing to walk by our side through all seven weeks of the countdown to Pentecost! Amen.
