Omer - Day 15

At twilight today, Saturday, April 22th, it's Shabbat! and the 15th  day of "counting the Omer"! Today marks two weeks and a day of counting.

Before Jesus appeared in His resurrected body to His disciples, they were locked in a room, scared. His first words, "shalom alechem" meaning "peace be with you," settled their hearts (John 20).  Jesus' peace has the same power especially today, Shabbat, when the greeting "Shabbat Shalom" fills communities around the world. If your heart is unsettled, settle into His peace. Nothing is impossible for Him. Your battle belongs to Him.

PRAYER:
Thank you, Lord, for your peace that surpasses all our circumstances! Thank you for this fifteenth day of counting the Omer. Thank you for two weeks and a day of the countdown to Pentecost! Amen.
