Omer - Day 6

At twilight today, Thursday, April 13th, a new day begins. This is the start of the sixth day of counting the Omer.

A week ago in Biblical history, Jesus took flatbread (matza), broke it, and give it to His disciples. For the next seven days, called the Feast of Unleavened Bread, they ate the same kind of bread without yeast, even when celebrating what we call "Holy Communion".
Today is the first day after the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Seven days remind us of God's marvelous deliverance work. He still works behind the scenes to bring deliverance and can do the same for your most difficult situation. He's there for you. He's got your back.

TODAY'S PRAYER
Open our eyes of our hearts, Lord, to see your ways in deeper and more meaningful ways. Thank you for this sixth day of counting and for walking by our side during these seven weeks of counting! Amen.
